snoring? You don't have to live like this.

Dr. Laura B. Ousley, DDS

Better Sleep Oklahoma

Laura B. Ousley, DDS

Diplomate of Dental Sleep Medicine

Dr. Laura Ousley, a Diplomate of Dental Sleep Medicine, specializes in treating mild to moderate sleep apnea using a custom oral appliance that is small enough to fit in your pocket and designed to work comfortably while you sleep. Patients choose Dr. Ousley for her advanced certification beyond general dentistry, as well as her comprehensive, airway-focused approach to care. Her office is one of the few in the OKC area to offer CBCT airway imaging, allowing for a more detailed and precise evaluation. She also provides convenient at-home sleep testing, eliminating the need for an overnight lab stay. Each oral appliance is custom-fitted and carefully monitored in-office, and treatment is often coordinated with myofunctional therapists and sleep physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes for long-term health and quality sleep.

Sleep Apnea Is a Whole-Body Problem

Poor sleep doesn't just make you tired. Untreated sleep apnea has been linked to high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, acid reflux, depression, and anxiety. Dr. Ousley takes a whole-health approach — looking at your airway, your bite, your tongue, and your breathing patterns to find out what's driving your symptoms.

OUR SERVICES

At-Home Sleep Testing

No overnight lab. We provide an at-home sleep test to evaluate your breathing patterns and
determine whether you have mild, moderate, or severe sleep apnea. Results are reviewed by a
sleep physician.

CBCT Airway Imaging

We are one of the few offices in Oklahoma City to offer cone beam CT airway imaging. This
technology lets us see the actual shape and size of your airway in three dimensions —
information that guides more precise treatment.

Oral Appliance

THERAPY

A custom-fitted oral appliance gently repositions your jaw to keep your airway open during
sleep. No mask, no hose, no noise. Compliance rates are as high as 90% over two and a half
years — far better than the CPAP.

Coordinated Airway Care

For patients whose sleep apnea is connected to a tongue tie or orofacial muscle dysfunction, we
partner with Jennifer DeJonge, RDH, OMT of OMT of Oklahoma. Treating the muscles
alongside the appliance produces lasting results.

WHAT WELL RESTED PATIENTS ARE SAYING

"After completing a sleep study she sent a detailed digital scan of my mouth to create my custom appliance. Within weeks I had it and I've seen a huge difference in my sleep. No CPAP needed!"

Harley J.

"Dr. Ousley was extremely detailed throughout the whole process. She took time to answer my questions and explained everything. My sleep has improved a lot."

Tony S.

I adore Dr. Ousley and her entire team. I had been searching for an appliance for sleep apnea and thank God I found this doc! She educated me on how the appliance works for this condition and I have been sleeping well ever since.

Excellent experience!
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and referred to Dr. Ousley for a dental appliance. Her office is clean, and has a home feel, and she and her staff are friendly and professional.
I love my appliance! It fits very comfortably and I am finally getting good quality rest!
